Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, formerly known as “Brangelina,” met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005. From the start, there was a lot of controversy about their relationship. Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston when sparks flew during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Pitt and Aniston were married for five years and divorced in 2005. Pitt and Aniston never had any children together, and it was later revealed that she had fertility issues. Pitt and Jolie were together for twelve years and married from 2014 until 2019. However, they separated in 2016. Together, Pitt and Jolie had three biological and three adopted children.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis met on the set of That’s ‘70s Show in 1998, but it took many years before they reconnected. Ironically, Kutcher and Kunis dated on the show. Kunis’s first real kiss was onscreen with Kutcher. In 2012, Kutcher and Kunis started dating, and in 2015 they married. Kutcher and Kunis are still married and have two children. Kutcher and Kunis had past relationships with celebrities. Kutcher was married to Demi Moore for six years and was widely publicized. Kunis dated Macaulay Culkin for over seven years. Kunis and Culkin tried to keep their relationship private, but later, it was revealed that Kunis had a terrible breakup that she had initiated.
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz met on the set of Jamón Jamón in 1992, and their characters were in a love triangle, foreshadowing their love for each other in the future. However, Bardem and Cruz did start to fall in love on the set of Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2007. Allegedly, things started to move forward during the wrap party, but their relationship did not become public until 2010 when they attended the Goya Awards as a couple. Bardem was reluctant to date Cruz, as he reportedly told GQ: “Oh, boy. She has that feistiness. There are those scenes where we are arguing, she’s throwing plates and so on. I had to wonder, ‘Do I really want this?’” Bardem and Cruz were married in 2010. Even after all this time, they are still married and have two children.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively

Before Ryan Reynolds put on the red and black suit and played Deadpool, Reynolds tried his hand as another superhero, the Green Lantern. Unfortunately, Green Lantern was a major flop and was skewered by critics. However, something good did come out of the experience because the Green Lantern set was where Reynolds met Blake Lively in 2010. Reynolds and Lively started dating in 2011, and in 2012 they tied the knot. Reynolds and Lively have had four children together and are still married today. The celebrity couple have also recently appeared in the film IF and Deadpool and Wolverine, where Lively plays Lady Deadpool.
Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman met on the set of Days of Thunder in 1989. They dated briefly before getting married in 1990. They lasted over a decade and then got divorced in 2001. Allegedly, the breakup was over religious differences. Cruise and Kidman adopted two children while they were together. Cruise later went on to marry another famous actress Katie Holmes. Famously, Cruise jumped on Oprah’s couch, declaring his love for Holmes. They were married from 2006 to 2012. Before Holmes and Kidman, Cruise was married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990. Cruise has been rumored to have dated many famous actresses, including Cher, Sofía Vergara, and Penelope Cruz. Cruise and Cruz met on the Vanilla Sky set. Kidman also ended up with another famous person, the country singer Keith Urban. The two of them have been married and going strong since 2006.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were originally introduced to each other on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2001. However, it was the set of Daredevil in 2003 that fanned the flames of love. Affleck and Garner were married in 2004. Shortly after that, they were married from 2005 to 2018. Together they had one child. However, before Garner came, Jenny came from the block. Affleck and Lopez, also known as “Bennifer,” met on the set of Gigli in 2002. They dated for a couple of years and were engaged but broke up in 2004. Fast forward to 2021, Affleck and Lopez reconnect and finally get hitched in 2022. However, recently, in 2024, Affleck and Lopez have filed for divorce.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have a complex and public relationship. Smith and Pinkett met on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1994. Fresh-faced, the young couple dated until marrying each other in 1997. Smith and Pinkett had two children together. Like their parents, Jaden Smith and Willow Smith have made a name for themselves as musical artists, and Jaden is an actor, too. Smith has another child with his former wife, Sheree Zampino, who were married from 1992 to 1995. Legally, Smith and Pinkett have been married since 1997 but have been separated since 2016. Smith and Pinkett are still really good friends, and he famously slapped Chris Rock during the Oscars for making a joke about Pinkett’s alopecia. Smith has since apologized and has tried to reinvigorate his career again.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson met on the TV series Bosom Buddies set in 1981. However, they only started dating after working on the Volunteers set in 1985. Hanks and Wilson married in 1988 and have been husband and wife ever since. They have two children together, Chet and Truman Hanks, both of whom are actors. Hanks was previously married to Samantha Lewes from 1978 to 1987, and they had two children together, Colin and Elizabeth Hanks, who are also actors. Sadly, Lewes passed away in 2002 from bone cancer. Hanks and Wilson, notably, were the first known famous couple to get the COVID-19 virus.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard met on the set of The Rum Diary, which is a loose sequel to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, where Depp reprised his role of Paul Kemp. In the film, Kemp is taken with Chenault, who Heard plays, and the characters end up marrying each other at the end of the film. Depp and Heard started dating around 2011. Eventually, they got married in 2015. The couple quickly separated in 2016 and finalized the divorce in 2017. There was a widely publicized defamation case over alleged domestic abuse. Depp sued Heard for fifty million over an op-ed she wrote, and Heard countersued Depp for one hundred million. The trial result was that Depp was awarded fifteen million (reduced to a little over ten million) for damages, and Heard received two million.
Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus met on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and played each other’s love interest. Sparks were flying on this Nicholas Sparks film adaptation as they started dating. Hemsworth and Cyrus broke up in 2010 only to get back together a month later, but then again broke up a month later after that. However, the story does not end there. The couple got engaged in 2012. Then, in 2013, the engagement was called off. Hemsworth and Cyrus started dating other people, but in 2016, they reunited and engaged again later that year. Hemsworth and Cyrus finally married in 2018 but officially divorced in 2020. Cyrus released the song “Flowers and Muddy Feet” — which is rumored to be about Hemsworth. Several Cyrus songs are rumored to be about her ever-changing relationship with Hemsworth.
Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn originally met on the set of The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band, in 1966. However, it was when Russell and Hawn were reintroduced on the set of Swing Shift in 1983 that they started dating. Even after four decades of being together, they never married each other, but they did have a child together, Wyatt Russell, who is an actor as well. Russell has another son from a previous relationship, Boston Russell. Hawn also has two children from a previous marriage, Kate and Oliver Hudson, who are both actors in their own right.
Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone met on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man in 2010. In the film, Garfield and Stone played each other’s romantic interests as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. Eventually, they started dating around 2011. Garfield and Stone also starred in the Spider-Man sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014. Garfield hosted Saturday Night Live to promote The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and Stone dropped by as a surprise guest. However, in 2015, Garfield and Stone split, but they remained friends. Garfield and Stone had mutual respect and often supported each other even from afar.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart met on the set of Twilight. Pattinson and Stewart were love interests throughout the Twilight franchise. Patterson and Stewart started dating in 2009, but their relationship ended after Stewart was unfaithful to Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, who directed Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman. A photo of Sanders and Stewart was leaked and became a major public scandal. Even former President Trump Tweeted, “Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. “She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again– just watch. He can do much better!” Sanders was also unfaithful to his wife, Liberty Ross. Sanders and Stewart made public apologies.
Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson

Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen crossed paths while auditioning for Cross Creek in 1983. Danson did not get the part, but they would meet again in 1993 when starring as a fictional married couple in the film Pontiac Moon. Danson and Steenburgen started dating and were married in 1995. Besides being married for nearly thirty years, the Danson and Steenburgen worked on numerous projects together, including Gulliver’s Travels, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The One I Love, and Mr. Mayor. Danson and Steenburgen never had children together but collectively had four children, two children each from previous marriages. Both of them were previously married to famous people. Steenburgen married Malcolm McDowell from 1980 to 1990, Danson was married to Randy Danson from 1970 to 1975, and an activist Casey Coates from 1977 to 1993.
Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin

Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin met on the True Blood set in 2007, which ran for seven seasons. Moyer and Paquin played on-again-off-again lovers in the TV series. Moyer and Paquin started dating in 2007 but were private until they were engaged in 2009. In 2010, Moyer and Paquin got married. They are still married today and have fraternal twins born in 2012. Moyer and Paquin have yet to work together on screen since True Blood. However, they co-founded a production company together called CASM Films. A project they produced was The Parting Glass in 2018. In 2011, Gosling and Mendes started dating and have been doing so ever since. They never were married, but they did have two children together. Before there was Gosling and Mendes, there was Gosling and Rachel McAdams. Gosling and McAdams met on the set of The Notebook in 2003. Gosling and McAdams have a passionate love affair in the film. In 2005, Gosling and McAdams started dating. They eventually broke up in 2007.
Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz

Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz met on the set of Dream House in 2010 and started dating the same year. It did not take long before Craig and Weisz tied the knot in 2011. They are still going strong today and have a child together and a child from previous relationships. Craig married Fiona Loudon from 1992 to 1994, and they had a child together. Weisz and acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky met on the set of The Fountain in 2001 and started dating. Weisz and Aronofsky were engaged and did have a son together, but they ended up breaking up in 2010.
Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix

Phoenix and Mara have one child together, which they lovingly named River in honor of Phoneix’s brother, River Phoenix, who died at the early age of twenty-three. Phoenix and Mara also worked on the film Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot in 2018. Mara unsurprisingly plays Phoenix’s love interest in the film.

Harington and Leslie started dating and eventually got married in 2018 and are still married. In Game of Thrones fashion, they were married in a castle, specifically Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. For the super fans of Game of Thrones, Harington and Leslie had a House of Stark banner hanging on the castle. They eventually had a child together.
Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams

Ledger and Williams were nominated for an Academy Award for their performances. They dated from 2004 to 2007, and in 2005, they had a daughter together. It is not exactly clear why they broke up, but it is rumored that Ledger was dealing with substance abuse issues. Despite breaking up with Ledger, Williams was completely heartbroken by Ledger’s untimely death. Williams still had a lot of love for Ledger. Ledger and Williams both have celebrity exes. Ledger reportedly dated Lisa Zane, Heather Graham, and Naomi Watts. Williams has been said to have previously dated Spike Jonze, Bobby Cannavale, and Jason Segel.
