The harmonies in “There’s a Place” sound just as catchy today as they did back then. The song featured on the album Please Please Me from 1963. It notably took inspiration by the Motown and R&B sounds that influenced the band’s early years. “There’s a Place” was something many of us could relate to — retreating to our place of solitude when things become a bit too much.
